Dave Crane, Chief Executive Officer

Dave joined as CEO of the Christian Residential Network and Christian Supply Chain Buying Group in January 2024. Dave has been involved in Christian residential ministry for several years in both a voluntary and paid capacity, having previously worked as the Operations Manager for a Christian holiday provider for children and young people.

He has a passion for Christian residential ministry; giving individuals the chance to explore life with Jesus and grow in their faith. Dave is part of the lay leadership team at his local church, which he attends with his wife and three young children.

Anita Long, Finance Manager

Anita joined CRNet in 2018 as the Office Manager, bringing 14+ years administrative experience with her.  During lockdown, Anita successfully passed the exams to qualify as a Bookkeeper with the AAT and, in 2022, was appointed as the Finance Manager of CRNet/CSCBG, when the position became available.  She said, “I should have done this years ago! If I had only known then what a bookkeeper was!!!”  and is thoroughly enjoying the challenges and opportunities that this role brings.

She is passionate about residentials: “There’s something about being away from your normal environment that enables people to ‘open-up’ and have that time to really think about/discuss life issues”.  What a positive difference even a day away can make!

Jo Slater, Office Manager

Jo joined CRNet in August 2023. She previously worked in supporter relations (including fundraising, communications, marketing, events and just about anything else that needed doing!) for Urban Saints where she aimed to volunteer on a different residential each year to get to know the volunteers.

She is passionate about helping enable everyone, particularly young people, experience the benefits of Christian residentials and the positive changes that can result. In her spare time, Jo enjoys helping with the 11-18s at her church, reading a book or two a week, and keeping up with friends. She met her husband whilst working for Urban Saints, and their daughter also loves serving on Christian residentials.
