• Inspiring our members
Our Purpose & Ethos
Founded in 1984 as Christian Camping International (UK) Ltd and trading as Christian Residential Network since 2019, CRNet is a national association of Christian centres and organisations involved in camps, holidays, conferences and outdoor activity ministries.
Our purpose and mission as set out in our Charitable Objects is to advance the Evangelical Christian Faith through encouraging, supporting and promoting the work of Christian residential ministries. This includes promoting the concept of the Christian residential experience to the wider public.
The Christian ethos of CRNet is integral to it being effective as a Christian organisation. A living relationship with Jesus Christ is at the heart of our work and our relationships with the members we serve. Our work is founded on prayer and our beliefs as expressed in the statement of faith we have adopted. It is therefore an occupational requirement that most of our staff are committed Christians who are in agreement with our statement of faith and are seeking to live a lifestyle which is in keeping with biblical truth. As ambassadors for Christ in all our dealings, our purpose is to reflect His character and attitudes in our daily lives and work. Ultimately CRNet is in existence to glorify God in all that it does.
